Working With Us
More than ever, children and teens live extremely structured and highly scheduled lives which makes it hard to find the time for personal growth and exploration. Everything Summer’s process is dedicated to maximizing the unique opportunities presented by summers and extracurriculars to help kids and teens grow as individuals, and make memories that will last a lifetime.
Everything Summer® is the resource parents, professionals, psychologists, summer camp program directors, food allergy organizations, educational consultants and college advisors turn to for independent and expert guidance. They are seeking unbiased advice that is not tied to any program compensation, so clients have a true advocate.
Unique and Focused
We take the time to help you make the right choices for your kids and family. We are caring, candid, discriminating, and unbiased. Our vast knowledge and experience make us unlike any other summer consulting service. And we are focused on one thing: making sure your family has the best, most relevant options possible for your child or teen.
Personalized and Objective
We talk to your family about your goals and expectations for summer – and prior experiences with camps and other programs. Through our exhaustive intake process, we understand your child’s or teen’s personality and interests.
Everything Summer is unlike any other summer consulting service – our priority is our clients’ best interests and we work exclusively for them. We never accept any referral fees or commissions, and we are constantly researching programs to offer clients the broadest range of options.
“ES asked thoughtful questions and really listened to my daughter’s responses. This led to suggestions that were well-matched to her individual interests and personality.”
— Susan, mother of teen
We understand that sometimes a student’s interests don’t fit into an already-existing box. When working with teen families, we practice creative, out-of-the-box thinking to help students identify or create unique opportunities for summer and extracurricular growth.
“My kids and I would not think of planning out their summers without consulting first with Jill. She has the keen ability to match a child’s needs with the most appropriate environment.”
— Marla, mother of teen and college student
Each child and teen is recognized as an individual. Our select recommendations will represent the most appropriate options which address the needs and goals established during our interview.
Our due diligence filters the overwhelming amount of information, and screens camps and programs to identify those that best meet our client’s requirements. This results in the most appropriate recommendations for our client families.
“In today’s internet environment, it is easy to find summer programs to fit every whim and need. The real trick is to find a program you can trust! Using Everything Summer gave us the confidence to send our son on a program overseas. His experience was amazing . . .”
— Nancy, mother of teen
Caring and Helpful
We guide you through the entire decision-making process, answering your tough questions, and sharing our knowledge and experience with you.
Our liaison between camps, programs, and our clients eliminates wasteful time while assuring privacy for our client families. And our interfacing with college counselors and advisors ensures that our advice contributes directly to a student’s story and makes sense within the larger scope of their long-term goals.
Client families not only have access to our services and advice, but also to our vast network of professionals, such as college or boarding school advisors – and all referrals are made with the same fit-focused approach as our summer and extracurricular recommendations.
Our Ongoing Service to You
We are available throughout the summer to help ensure a successful experience. From proactively checking in with the program and family, to acting as a mediator and troubleshooting any issues that may arise, to preparing for the emotional adjustment of summer transitions. We debrief with our families in the Fall to get valuable feedback about your child or teen’s experience, and look for ways to build on those experiences during the school year as appropriate.
“You have a true gift for listening to and understanding a family’s and child’s needs and then matching the right program.”
— Deena, Mother of teen and campers, NY
