The New York Times called Jill an “expert” for summer. That’s because she takes the time to understand the personality and needs of each individual family and child – and tailors her recommendations accordingly. Her objective guidance helps you find the solution that’s just right.
A professional summer planner, youth expert and parent consultant for nearly 20 years, Jill has researched over two-thousand camps and programs, helping families worldwide plan the “right” summer. Her unique Everything Summer® evaluation process is focused on safety, well-being, family values, and “personality fit” between kids and camps. She visits camps in season and with her team, personally interviews Directors throughout the year to understand each program’s profile, culture, and priorities – enabling her to give first-hand insights to her client families.
Prior to summer advising, Jill spent many years as a corporate executive, honing her skills in client service, research, analysis, marketing and planning. Jill’s two children have been campers, camp counselors, and participated in a variety of pre-college summer programs.
On the Road to College
With the increased competitiveness of colleges and universities, your teen’s acceptance to his/her institution of choice depends on more than just academic accomplishments.
Jill is the only dedicated Summer Planning Expert and Consultant who is a professional member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA). Her indepth knowledge of families, youth, summer programs, and academic institutions gives her the skills she needs to aid teens in their academic pursuits. She has helped families understand what their teenagers should be looking for in a school, what institutions will be a good fit, and what those schools are looking for in an applicant. Her recommendations for summer programs have given teens the skills, confidence, and experience necessary for success.
These benefits extend beyond college. The experience gained by a variety of well-chosen summer programs will help teens for the rest of their lives as they navigate the difficult professional world that lies ahead.
